Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Kasso, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License to use the app

Kasso is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the Kasso application downloaded from the Mac App Store is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA):

Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, except as required by applicable law.

3. Kasso Pro subscriptions

Certain features require an active Kasso Pro subscription purchased through the Mac App Store.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Pricing is shown in the app and on the App Store product page and may vary by region.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable under App Store rules.
• Restore purchases. Use Restore Purchases in the app if you already subscribed on another Mac signed into the same Apple ID.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Kasso only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
• Use the app to violate the rights of others or to store unlawful content
• Circumvent subscription or licensing mechanisms

5. Your data

You are responsible for the data you enter into Kasso and for maintaining backups. Kasso stores data locally on your Mac; optional iCloud sync uses your Apple ID's private iCloud storage. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Forecasts, estimates, and reports are provided for planning purposes only and are not tax, legal, or accounting advice.

6. Disclaimers

Kasso is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

You use Kasso at your own risk. You are solely responsible for verifying income, tax, and billing calculations before relying on them professionally.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Kasso or inability to use it.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Kasso Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $50 if you use the free version.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms or the app from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise. App Store transactions remain subject to Apple's terms and the laws applicable to those transactions.
